Death Horizon- Chapter 5- France

5 France
19 May 2011, Tuesday
6.00 a.m. – Paris, France.

They arrived at the international airport in France at six a.m. The condition in France was so different from London. People were still doing their own business. Kids went to school and the adults went to work. All of them looked so relax as they didn’t even know about the disease. Jeremy said that the soldiers tried as best as they could to keep the secret about the disease from the France’s citizen. They even didn’t let the people to go to London as they had closed the border a few weeks before because of the renovation which was going on at the border.
The Kyle’s, Caroline and Jeremy were instructed to act normal and tried not to tell anything about the disease to the people in France. “Let’s go. I’m taking you to the investigation office.”  Jeremy said. “Walk fast please.”
They went to the office by a car that Jeremy had rent. In the car, Jeremy and the car driver talked about something in France. Allie and Alex were bad at France. For Caroline, she just understands three words from it. “Caroline, what are they talking about?” Allie asked her.
“I don’t know, you know my France is just as bad as yours. But, it must be something important, right?” Allie nodded. There must be something, she said. Maybe the car driver knew something that they didn’t know. Mr. and Mrs. Kyle sat behind. They were talking too. Allie knew that they were talking about the disease. She looked outside. She saw a couple was taking a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower. She had been there before, 10 months ago before this insanity came. She exhaled. She knew that it’s not going to be safe in France.
She didn’t knew, how long she had talking to herself when the car stopped in front of a big building. The building was light blue in colour. ‘Beautiful.’ She thought. Then, they went out from the car. Jeremy said thanks to the car driver in France. Allie went to Alex. “Alex, I think we can’t stay here for a long time. My heart kept saying something bad would happen.”
Alex looked at her. “What?” He laughed. Mrs. Kyle looked at him. She narrowed her eyes. Sorry, he mouthed. “Allie, you must be joking. What are you, a psychic?” Allie felt annoyed. She pushed him.
“I wish. But Alex, please tell mom and dad.” Alex shooked his head, meaning that he will not tell Mr. and Mrs. Kyle about it. Nonsense, he said to his own self. He walked away. Allie murmured to her own self.

Maybe what Allie thought was right. Will something bad happen like Allie thought? Or will it be Allie’s feeling?
